The 'A•Tect' process is an effective and straightforward method

coach to take the A•Tect process out so that it can reach a
wider audience.
To become an A•Tect coach is straightforward provided you have
some relevant skills and a willingness to learn and apply the Protectics
A•Tect anger management methodology.
As an A•Tect coach you will be able to run A•Tect Anger Management
coaching sessions and help adults with anger management issues. Issues
that may have been responsible for limiting their job prospects and inhibiting
their personal relationships. Issues that may have been causing problems
and dragging them down year after year.

Who
we are and what is A•Tect:
Robert Agar-Hutton founded Protectics Limited in 1991 and since then we
have specialised in dealing with the management of anger, aggression, violence
and stress. In 2003 we were approached by one of our existing clients -
the North London Learning and Skills Council - and asked to develop a process
that would allow coaches working with young adults to help them deal with
anger.
We decided that we were going to develop a process that would be suitable
for anyone aged sixteen or over. As whether you are sixteen or sixty-six,
anger can be debilitating and distressful and everyone should have access
to the tools that will let them deal with their anger habit.
We developed 'A•Tect'. The A•Tect Anger Management process
is an efficient and effective method of handling the anger habit based
on the concepts of Responsibility and Realisation. It uses healing methodologies
from four areas, which are, 'Logic', 'Psychology', 'Physiology' and 'Method'.

March 2004 the first A•Tect Anger Management programme
was delivered, initially coaches were from a variety of

Vocational Qualification and to develop life skills. |

- Haringey Adult Learning Service who provide learning opportunities
to the local community and help with looking for work. |

Business
approach:
Your initial course is provided by Protectics at a
price that allows us to cover our costs. We make money only
when you start to make money. When you start coaching, then
one of your business's expenses will be to provide each of
your clients with an A•Tect Workbook which you buy from
us. It is that income (based on your success) that helps us
to succeed. Therefore we do everything we can to ensure that
only suitable people can train as Independent A•Tect
coaches and we do everything we can to support and encourage
you to run your business efficiently and profitably.
Protectics Limited does not dictate your business approach,
however, it is probable that in order to run a successful and profitable
business you will need to work in one of the following ways:

Part-time
A•Tect coach.
If you want and are able to spend between six
and ten hours coaching per week, for forty-two weeks each
year plus some time to advertise and manage your business,
then this approximates to revenue of between £12,600 and £21,000 a
year running one-to-one sessions and between £25,200 and £42,000 for
groups of four delegates.

Full-time
A•Tect coach.
If you want and are able to spend between three
and six hours per day coaching for five days a week for
forty-two weeks a year plus some time to advertise and
manage your business, then this approximates to revenue
of between £31,500 and £63,000 a
year running one-to-one sessions and between £58,800 and £117,600 for
groups of four delegates.

You
need to deduct from any of the above figures, expenses that
your business may incur such as venue hire, advertising, etc.
Obviously, if you wanted to work extra hours or extra weeks
or wanted to work with larger groups then this will increase
your earnings.

but references to 'Protectics' and 'A•Tect' are to
be approved by Protectics Limited. |

will be listed on the Protectics website as an independent
A•Tect
coach and your contact details made available (we will also
provide you with a free email address that you can use). |
6) |
You
will provide the A•Tect course as a series of seven weekly
one-hour sessions for which you will charge your client. The
recommended fee that you would charge each of your clients
for the course is £350 however as it is YOUR business
you set the fees that you charge. You will be responsible for
complying with any accounting, tax or VAT rules that may apply
to running your own business. If your revenue is above the
VAT threshold (currently £56,000 p.a.) you will need
to register for VAT. |
7) |
You
will supply each of your clients with an A•Tect workbook which
will be supplied to you from Protectics Limited at a cost of £49.95
(including VAT).

8) |
You
will organise an appropriate venue from which to run the
training
courses. You will select the venue with regards to presenting
a professional image as an A•Tect coach and respecting
both the comfort and safety of yourself and the client. |
9) |
Each
year you will attend a one-day course to obtain training
in the
latest A•Tect techniques and recertification. The current
fee for this course is £750 + VAT. The cost is reduced
by £37.50 for each workbook that you have purchased
during the year, so if you coach twenty or more people you
will receive
the additional training and reaccreditation for free. |
